My first hatch

Hello, today was the first time I got an Araucana to hatch! =D I was worryed that he wasnt going to make it, it took him over 15 hours to finally hatch out, Mom even called Fritz to see if we could do anything. Heres the first babys pic. =D ill post more as the hatch comes along.

There's nothing much cuter than baby chicks. And I see some good tufts on that yellow and black one!

=D yeah I saw that I cant wait to see what they all look like grown up! ... theres one brown chick and one like gray chick, i wounder what hen/roo they came from, I keep all my Araucanas together. My goal is good looking all black Araucanas, and some of my roos have colors in them.

Update: I now have 8 chicks out and about and two trying to hatch out. yay!

Update: the two trying to come out of the shell came out this morning, so now in total I have 10 chicks.
On the 24th of Feb. I well hopfully have some more chicks, I have 48 eggs in a incubater at the school im in (it holds 100 eggs and im sharing the incubater with another girl who is just hatching out brown egglayers at the same time, but her eggs will hatch out later then mine) and on the same day I put about 12 eggs under a broody hen, now all I got to do is wait the time.
